In the end of June, the health care and medicine supply programme officially starts. In the ninth year, this meaningful programme of Kind Heart Foundation intends to bring such good chances for free health care for 32,000 people in remote, difficulf and boudary areas in 22 provinces throughout Viet Nam.
In such hot weather, the doctor team from Traditional Hospital in Cao Bang province and Provincial Red Cross go through nearly 200 kilometers to poor people in Bao Lam district. Here, because of difficult geography, people in remote areas heardly access high quality medical services. So, more than 1,000 people from the six most difficult communes of Bao Lam district are not afraid of such far way to come here so early.

Ms. Hau Thi De (Na Than Hamlet, Thach Lam commune, Bao Lam district) is so emotional when she is given a medical check-up and free medicine: “The doctor checks very carefully, he says I am in good health. I am very happy to receive lots of medicine”.
Children are picked up to test health for free
Dr. Dam The Vinh – The chairman of the Red Cross Hospital of Traditional Cao Bang Hospital – a very active member of the charity programs shares: “The charity journey helps me know that people here are so poor and in limited awareness. People really need the practical support and meaning of sponsors to make life better. Thank Kind Heart Foundation which always help poor people in Cao Bang and throughout the country ”.

Doctors carefully examine health and guide people how to keep fit
People loves the medicine package as it is useful and easy to use
In 2020, the free medical examination and treatment programme is held in 22 provines by Kind Heart Foundation and Provincal Red Cross. Besides some common medicine such as bandages, analgesics, antipyretics, antipyretics, etc., people are also given such special medicines, for examples: antibiotics, stomach pain, osteoarthritis ... All are preserved by in a nice bag of medicine which Kind Heart Foundation design only for the programme.

Form 2012 to now, the healthcare examination and free medicine programme sponsored by Kind Heart Foundation has reached 61 provinces and cities across the country. With the total support nearly VND 31 billion throughout 9 years, Kind Heart Foundation has organized thousands of medical examination sessions and direct health checks for hundreds of thousands of poor people. Many of whom have never been to health care services. From those medical examination and treatment sessions, doctors promptly detect many cases of seriously ill people, quickly provide appropriate advice and treatment and save such precious lives. |
